Funeral services for Annette H. Fennell, 76, of Cochran who died September 22, 2016, will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens. Born in Oglethorpe, Georgia, the daughter of the late Charles A. Head, Sr. and Evelyn English Head and widow of James W. "Billy" Fennell, Jr., Annette lived in Hawkinsville most of her life moving to Cochran in 1972. She was a graduate of Hawkinsville High School and St. Joseph School of Nursing and Georgia Southern University and taught Health Occupations at Bleckley County High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cochran, Jelks Barrow Sunday School Class, and a square dancer with the Red Barn Spinners. Survivors include: daughters, Deanna (Brad) Sanders of Bonaire, Amy F. Bryant of Cochran, and Heather (Michael) Hodge of Empire; brother, Charles A. (Patsy) Head, Jr. of Greensboro; and 6 grandchildren, Morgan Sanders, Lyndsey Sanders, Austin Sanders, Zackary Bryant, Hannah Fennell, and Ethan Hodge. The family will be at the residence on 10th Street in Cochran and will meet friends Friday at the funeral home form 6 to 8 p.m. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.fishersfuneralhome.net
