Funeral services for Mrs. Dell NeSmith Holt, who died Monday, March 2, 2015, will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Holt was born in Dodge County, daughter of the late James Leonard and Lula Mellasie Fair NeSmith. She was a graduate of Chester High School, Class of 1950. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a homemaker. A sister, Mattie Ella Roland, preceded Mrs. Holt in death. Survivors include: husband, Virgil E. Holt of Cochran; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Randall Thursby of Cochran; grandchildren, Michelle Evans of Charleston, SC, Daniel Thursby of Atlanta and Melissa (Chris) Belflower of Savannah; sisters, Sybil Rodgers of Macon, Helen Law of Eastman and Shirley Reeves of Cochran. The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Thursby, 122 Wood Oak Circle, Cochran and will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.fishersfuneralhome.net
