Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Riggins, 89, of Cochran, who died on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Bryant Nursing Center will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. Willie Basby officiating and burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Born in Bleckley County, she was daughter of the late James and Etta Burns Warren and widow of Richard "Preacher" Riggins, Sr. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include 3 sons, Jimmy Lee (Sylvia) Blackshear of Cochran, James Blackshear of Trenton, N.J. and Johnny (Mattie) Blackshear of Atlanta; stepson, Tito Richard Riggins, Jr. of Cochran; 9 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren and sister, Pearlie Mae Brown of Cochran.
