Funeral services for Evelyn English Head, 98, of Hawkinsville, who died Tuesday, January 13, 2015, will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Head was born in Macon County, daughter of the late Richard and Nettie Underwood English, widow of Charles A. Head, Jr. She was office manager for Dr. Maurice Arnold, MD for 21 years, a member of Hawkinsville First Baptist Church and was teacher in the church children's department for many years. Survivors include: son, Charles (Patsy) Head of Greensboro, GA; daughter, Annette H. Fennell of Cochran. 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. The family will be at the residence of Annett Fennell, 10th Street, Cochran and will meet friends after the services. Donations can be made to the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church, Renovation Fund.
