Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Purser Wright, 97, of Cochran who died Friday, March 15, 2013 will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday in Tabernacle Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Wright was born in Bleckley County, the daughter of the late John J. Purser and Amelia Harrell Purser. She was the widow of Bernard Wright. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a church pianist for many years. She was a former employee of L & H Shirt Company and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Phillips and a grandson, Stephen Daniels. Survivors include a daughter, Beth (Don) Freeman of Macon; four granddaughters, Belinda (Ricky) Dye of Cochran, Debra (Buck) Goddard of Frostproof, FL, Susan Personette of Avon Park, FL and Cindy Sullivan of Warner Robins; two grandsons, Larry Phillips of Frostproof, FL and Mark Freeman of Bonaire; 13 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren. The family may be contacted at the residence of Ricky & Belinda Dye, 137 Paula Drive, Cochran and will meet friends on Saturday night from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
