Kenneth Anthony Rosen

Memorial services for Kenneth Anthony Rosen, 69, of Columbia, South Carolina, who died at Carl Vinson VA Medical Center on November 17, 2016, will be held at Pawmetto Lifeline in the Senior/Education Center on December 23, 2016 at 7 P.M. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Hyman Rosen and Cecelia Stevens. He attended Solvay High School and received his associate's degree in business from Central City Business Institute in Syracuse, New York. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War and received multiple commendations including the Bronze Star. He was a welder with Allied Chemical and also worked with the Church of God as a Christian education director and an ordained minister. Survivors include: his wife of 47 years, Connie Gregg Rosen of Columbia, SC; daughter, Tamy Garofano of Harpers Ferry, WV; brothers, Ronald Rosen of Syracuse, NY and Daniel Rosen of Boston, MA; grandchildren, Marina Nicole Garofano and Ralph Thomas Garofano, Jr.; and great-grandson, Anthony Ryan Garofano. He was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Rosen.
