Linda Purser Owens

Funeral services for Linda Purser Owens, 71, of Cochran, who died Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Bryant Health Care and Rehabilitation in Cochran, will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 2:30 P.M., at Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Passmore officiating. The family will meet friends following the service Saturday at the church. Linda was born the youngest of four children in Bleckley County, the daughter of the late Rev. Hinson and Gladys Holland Purser and was the widow of the late Daniel W. Owens, Jr. She attended Cochran schools and was a member of the 1969 Cochran High School Class. After high school she worked and retired from Warner Robins air Force Base. Linda loved spending time with her family, cooking, working in her yard, music and played the piano from time to time. She was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janie P. Ross and brothers, Paul, K.E., and Aaron Purser. Left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Daniel S Owens and his wife Wendy of Warner Robins and Chris Owens and his wife Amy of Cochran; 3 granddaughters, Allie Owens, Olivia Owens and Ruby Owens; step-granddaughter, Emmalee Jones. The Family is at the residence of Chris Owens at 555 GA Hwy 26 East in Cochran.
