Funeral services for Lucille Peacock Smith, 87, of Cochran, who died Wednesday, May 4, 2016, in Dodge County Hospital, will be held Saturday, May 7, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Lucille was born in Macon County, daughter of the late Jessie Frank and Iserbell Champion Peacock and widow of Lewis W. Smith. She lived in Bleckley County most of her life. She was retired from L& H Shirt Company and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her children, Mary Ann Harris, Wilbur Lee Smith and Ronnie Smith. Survivors include: daughter, Minnie Bowen, Cochran; son, Johnny (Geneva) Smith, Adrian; 14 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. Family will be at the residence of Minnie Bowen, Old Eastman Road, and will meet friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
