Mrs. Marjorie D. Raffield

September 26, 1926 - April 16, 2020

I sing because I'm happy, I sing because I'm free, His eve is on the sparrow, And I know He watches me. Born September 26, 1926,Marjorie Davis Raffield went to be with the Lord on Thursday April 16, 2020. Music and singing were two of Marjorie Raffield's favorite things. For over sixty-five years they shared the love of Jesus throughout Laurens County and surrounding areas. Mrs. Raffield was a graduate of Dublin High School and attended Bob Jones University. She also classes and was trained in medical records at the Georgia State Evening School in Atlanta. After finishing her training, she worked several years as a medical secretary at the veterans Hospital in Dublin. Mrs. Raffield is preceded in death by her husband Reverend Thomas Buford Raffield, her parents John Wesley and Florence Davis, and her brothers Warren and Walter Davis.
