Funeral services for Nannette Harrell Jones, of Cochran, 85, who died Monday, November 16, 2015, at her residence, will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Todd Sessions officiating. Burial will be private. Born in Dodge County, Nannette was the daughter of the late Lawton and Norma Conner Harrell and had lived in the Roddy Community for 67 years. She was retired from Gold Kist and a member of Roddy Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a brother, N. Max Harrell. Survivors include: husband, Matthew M. Jones of Cochran; children, Suenette (Dan) Dill of Sandy Springs, Jack M. (Sherry) Jones of Cochran, Gretel (Lee) Tidmore of Decatur, and Lesa (David) Shoe of Valdosta; 4 grandchildren, Mandy J. (Jack) White of Eastman, Beth (T.J.) Hausauer of El Paso, TX, Adam Shoe of Albany, and Laura Shoe of Valdosta; 5 great-grandchildren, Jolee Schrader, John Hausauer, Mary Hausauer, Jacob Shoe, and Conner Hausauer; brother, Conner Harrell of Lilburn; and sister, Laura Burch O'Connor of Chauncey. Family will be at the Jones' residence, Roddy Road in Cochran, and will meet friends Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at Fisher Funeral Home.
