Penny Rae McLeod

Cochran – Penny Rae McLeod passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 1, 2021, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home, with Dr. Stephen White officiating. Burial will be private in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Penny was born in Pulaski County and was the daughter of the late James Norman Roland and Minnie Maddox Roland. She was preceded in death by her son, Ryan McLeod; mother-in-law, Mildred Howell McLeod; father-in-law, Wallace McLeod; sisters, Norma R. Mullis and Carolyn R. Conyers. Penny was a graduate of Bleckley County High School, Class of 1981, and Middle Georgia College School of Nursing. She was a staff nurse with Augusta University Healthcare at the Pulaski C.I. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Keith McLeod; sisters, Donna (Greg) Jarrell and Charlotte Fagan; brother-in-law, Dennis (Michelle) McLeod, all of Cochran; and several nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends following the service in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home and will be at the McLeod residence on Ga Hwy 257, Cochran.
