Funeral services for Rube Marion Jones of Cochran, Georgia who passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at his residence will be held December 20, 2020 At 2:00 P.M in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Moseley officiating. He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Fleta Davis Jones and his brother William Arthur (Billy) Jones. He is survived by his wife Janice Hamrick Jones of sixty-one years of marriage, his son Danny Timothy Jones and wife Ellen Bracewell Jones of Cochran, Georgia. He was a graduate of Cochran High School Class of 1953 , he served in the United States Army and was retired from Armstrong World Industries with thirty-eight years of service. He was a Black Angus Farmer, avid fox hunter and lover of dirt track racing. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church
